How do I know my website is performing well? – Practicology

One of the things you should consider when creating a website is what will the success factors and KPI that will need to be measured in order to understand whether the site is successful or needs further optimisation. They could be basic measures such as overall visitors to the site, how many click on promotional banners, to more sophisticated measures such as how many sales have been achieved through an external banner advertising or email campaign, how many users drop out of the purchasing funnel or what are your overall conversations rates by product sets or best sellers. Once you have identified what these are, you can then set up an on-going benchmark and/or dashboard to see how well your site is performing in any given timeframe.
